First Aid Action will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to perform a safe rescue of a casualty who has received an electric shock or other injuries while working on low voltage conductors or equipment. |
| Course Description |
|
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to rescue a person with low voltage electrical conductors and equipment. It is a requirement of the 'Electrical Safety Regulation 2002', contained within the 'Queensland Electrical Safety Act 2002' that "An employer must ensure workers who are required to perform, or help in performing, electrical work are competent in rescue and resuscitation in accordance with recognised practices in the electricity industry". |
